Chasing Lions Red Wine
This is a blend of Merlot, Cab, Cab Franc, Syrah, and Petite Verdot. Apparently, that combination was developed by Dionysus himself...cuz this stuff is for the gods!!! The rich, lush nose of black currant, espresso, cedar and spices is truly amazing at this price point, and the velvety mouthfeel and multiple layers of flavors is mind boggling. There is no way this wine should be sold at the price it is...but I’m not complaining and neither will you!!! You can thank me later for bringing this in.

Su'skol Vineyard's close proximity to the San Francisco Bay, with its marine influences of morning fog and afternoon breezes, creates an ideal climate for growing Chardonnay. The 175-acre vineyard is planted exclusively to Chardonnay with nine unique clones, giving the winemaker a veritable spice rack to choose from to add complexity to the wine. Boy does it work too!!! Layer Cake Primitivo
The winemaker’s grandfather made and enjoyed wine for 80 years. He used to say the soil in which the vines lived were a layer cake. He said, the wine, if properly made, was like a great layer cake, fruit, mocha, chocolate, and hints of spice — and rich, always rich.
'Never pass up a good Layer Cake,' he would say.
This Primitivo (aka-Zinfandel) is grown in Italy in vineyards that date back to the Romans.
